Name: Itadane
Village: No alliance based in Tsuchi (Earth Country)
Description: The Itadane Clan of the Earth Country are a small clan with a mastery of Taijutsu and Genjutsu. They are lesser known in the wars and are mostly peaceful. They have no kekke genkai. Utilizing the inherent resiliency of their chakra and learning chakra control is essential early on in the clan. They are signature users of Genjutsu during close range combat. The clan has a higher chakra limit than some other shinobi Clans, the chakra use they exhibit without exhausting is similar to that of some of the weaker clans with Kekke Genkai
Clan Leader: Nobuo Itadane
Jutsu: The clan Hijutsu is a Genjutsu that every Itadane clan member must learn before they become genin. The Genjutsu itself affects the brain's response time to sensory information provided by the senses. It is usually cast by either a shout (auditory) or a series of handseals depending on the user's ability level. When used with the clan's fighting technique, a form of high speed taijutsu that only the clan elder has mastered, Vanishing Fist. The user strikes so quickly that their limbs appear to not move at clan head level. However since the clan has no kekke genkai to enhance their physical body, they are limited to using the taijutsu as a slower version of the true intent. The Vanishing Fist uses a combination of open palm strikes and punches in combination with take downs to utilize the clan Hijutsu to its fullest.
Common Traits: All members of the Itadane Clan have Gray eyes. Their hair is in shades of earthy browns. They have ranging heights, the shortest members ranging from 5ft to 6ft 3in.
Kekkai Genkai: None
Extra: The Clan is peaceful among its own members, but when they have made alliances many of the clans they help often refuse to aid the Itadane clan after they fight together. Usually fear of the sight of Itadane Ninja rendering opponents helpless under a Genjutsu before merciliessly beating them has something to do with it. Now the clan is slightly hesitant to enter alliances, but they rarely are attacked since they remain nomadic across the mountains of their country.
Clan History - (For Bonus Points)
The Itadane clan was founded by Nobu Itadane, at least he was the first official head of the clan and the one man who organized the roaming families into a shinobi family. Nobuo created an alliance with a clan that had become stabilized while he searched out the remaining families and side branches of his relatives. The family agreed that while the Itadane clan was organizing they would harbor the clan on the small patch of land they had. The price they asked was that the Itadane shinobi help train their young men into ninja as they were not very adept fighters alone. Nobuo had his brother Naga and his son Soichi help train the upstart shinobi clan while he went searching. As time went on the other clan became wary of the size and skill of the Itadane clan and began to plot against them.
It happened while the main family members were returning with the last of their family. The other clan had snuck into the food storage tent of the Itadane and had started to use poison in the water jars when some of the kunoichi found them. A small struggle ensued and the pair of ninja were overpowered. The clan then accused Nobuo of attempting to murder clan members when he returned. The debate raged for hours until Nobuo gathered his clan and left the land of the other clan, who cursed them to forever walk the mountains and never find a home. Nobuo was a slight romantic and found this idea rather appealing. Since then the clan is lead by him through the lands of tsuchi and never rest anywhere for more than a couple weeks. The nomad-ism is viewed as good training for the young and women as well as the men and shinobi of the clan. The resiliency they show in creating and moving their clan home time after time and setting up only to take down without leaving a trace has lead to the clan having a hardiness that rivals weaker members of strong clans, and the chakra reserves of the Itadane are slightly over the average shinobi, leading a few to occasionally learn Doton or the rare water release has also been noted within the clan. They are not however on par with either the Uchiha or greater clans of the fire country.
